Private Pilot

Fullfill your dream of becoming a pilot. We can connect you with a CFI to work around your schedule. Fly 1-2 times per week or everyday, it's your call. Open up your life to new travel experiences. Fly to the beach for the weekend or Saturday college football game!
Requirements
- Be at least 17 years of age
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate
- Receive a minimum of 40 hours of flight time including training and solo flight
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test
Commercial Pilot

With a Commercial Pilot Certificate, the sky is the limit! Become a professional pilot flying a variety of aircraft and traveling the world. Add your multi-engine rating and you are off to a possible airline career! Earning your Commercial ticket is the first step to becoming a Cetified Flight Instructor as well. An example of the progression might look like this...CFI-teach others to learn to fly as you build your knowledge and confidence. The next step could be flying a small single or twin engine aircraft for a local business. Then move on to a corporate job or regional airline. Some people love the corporate lifestyle, some prefer the airline industry, just do your research. There are jobs to be found, you just have to know where to look!
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Obtain at least a current second-class medical certificate
- Log a total of 250 hours of total flight time
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test
-Hold an Instrument rating unless seeking a VFR only (restrictions apply)

Instrument Rating
This rating added to your private or commercial certificate will allow you to fly on instrument flight rules when the weather is lower than allowed for visual flight rules.
Requirements
- Hold at least a private pilot certificate
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Log 50 hours of cross country as PIC
- Receive a minimum of 40 hours of instrument of actual or simulated instrument filght training
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test
